South Point Pet Hospital introduces
a 3 year vaccination protocol
Vaccinations are one of the most important preventative measures you can take for the health of your pet. However, not every pet needs all vaccines every year. Pets age at an accelerated rate compared to people, approximately five to seven years to each year of our lives. It is therefore very important that pets have a comprehensive wellness exam at least once a year.
During this wellness exam our veterinarians will examine your pet thoroughly to help prevent and provide early diagnosis for any health issues. At this time the veterinarian will discuss any need to vaccinate and recommend vaccines if and as needed depending on many factors such as your pet’s unique environment, lifestyle and physical condition.
We hope to see you soon for your pet’s annual wellness exam and discuss the need for vaccination at this time!
