At South Point Pet Hospital we work with the Surrey SPCA to ensure the cats and dogs are spayed or neutered and tattooed prior to their adoption. We also tend to SPCA animals needing veterinary assessments or treatment.
This is how we met “Milo”, an 8 month old male domestic short hair, brown tabby cat. “Milo” was picked up by the SPCA as a stray and was brought to us because of an apparent eye infection. “Milo” made quite the first impression with his friendly personality and kind nature…he was a model patient!!
Upon closer examination, we realized “Milo”s” eye infection was complicated by an anatomic abnormality of his eye lids, known as entropion. Since his condition would require at least one surgery and intensive aftercare, we unanimously decided to take on the case and adopt “Milo” into our clinic family. Not only was he popular among our 2 legged staff members, our 3-legged resident “Tyson” had also become quite attached to “Milo”.
“Milo” has settled in very well to life as a clinic cat and especially enjoys hanging out on the front counter greeting clients and snoozing with ”Tyson” in the comfort room.
