Dr. Aunali Daudjee
Dr. Daudjee graduated from the University of Nairobi, Kenya in July 1987. Post graduation, he worked in a Small Animal practice until 1993. His colleague, late Dr. Richardson, was involved with wildlife - through which he received experience dealing with a variety of animals such as, birds of prey, crocodiles, cheetahs and chimpanzees. In October of 1993, he immigrated to Toronto, Canada and passed the Canadian Veterinarian Board Exams parts A & B. Thereafter, he moved to Alberta in 1994, where he could work under the supervision of a registered veterinarian. He received full licensure in December 1995. From May 1995 to June 2004, he worked in Fort McMurray, Alberta, at Thickwood Veterinary Clinic, where he practiced on 80% small animals, 15% exotics, and 5% equine. During this period, he completed a course in orthopedics. His main interests are orthopedics, internal medicine and oncology.
He has a beautiful wife, an eleven year old son and an eight year old daughter. His extra-curricular activities are playing squash and outdoor activities such as camping.

Dr. Biljana
Grubac
With over 18 years of experience in the field of small animal veterinary medicine Dr. Grubac is a perfect fit for our compassion and care oriented facility. She completed her degree from the University of Sarajevo. Since moving to Canada in 1992 she has worked in various small animal hospitals in the Lower Mainland. She has special interest in dentistry and dermatology. Her compassionate, dedicated and caring nature further strengthens our practice mission and goals.

Dr. Julie Lahey
Dr. Lahey has been practicing small animal medicine in the Vancouver Lower Mainland for over 10 years. A graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI, this is the only veterinary college in Canada that has a marine aquatic component to the program. As a veterinary student, Dr. Lahey also completed externship programs at the Vancouver Emergency Clinic, Animal Critical Care Group (now known as Can West Vet Specialists) and the Vancouver Aquarium. Dr. Lahey also received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Prior to the veterinarian program, she studied science at both UBC & the University of Guelph.
Born in Vancouver, Dr. Lahey now resides with her husband Sal and three children & Border Collie pet "Morgan". Some of her interests include swimming, tennis, volleyball, hiking, pilates, and ocean kayaking.

Dr. Marketa Sattran
Accupuncurist/Traditional Chinese Medicine
With over 19 years of experience in the veterinary industry and 15 years of experience with Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine we are very pleased to introduce Dr. Sattran as a member of our team.
Born in Prague, Czech Republic she immigrated to Canada in 1983. After completing a B.Sc. in Biology from York University in 1987, Dr. Sattran graduated from Ontario Veterinary College in 1992. In 1996 she has completed a course in veterinary acupuncture and was certified by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.
She has been living in South Surrey since 2000 with husband Scott, 3 children, 2 dogs, cat and several pet chickens.
Dr. Sattran will be offering Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine out of our hospital and we are so excited to be able to offer this service to our clients and their pets. Having several degrees and experience working in many different clinics in the lower mainland, she will be a great help to you and your pet.

Kaydee
Office Manager/Veterinary Assistant/Nurse
Kaydee has been working in the Veterinary Industry since 2005, and brings a lot of experience and knowledge with her. Prior to starting in the veterinary field, Kaydee both worked and volunteered with the BCSPCA for 12 years. She has adopted many animals through different shelters and organizations over the years, and currently has a dog and a cat. Kaydee has completed programs such as the Medi-cal Royal Canin Life stages program, and Virbac University CE Courses. With her experience, commitment and a caring nature, Kaydee, continuously strives to provide the best care and service to our pets and their families.

Melissa
Registered Animal Health Technician
Melissa completed her Registered Veterinary Technician Course through Olds College in Alberta and has since then brought her knowledge and skills to our clinic. She lives on a Dairy Farm, and has many cows, two dogs and a cat that she rescued while in school. Melissa has special interest in animal dentistry and would like to eventually specialize in animal rehabilitation. As a fully trained technician and a dedicated and compassionate being Melissa helps the doctors provide exceptional care for our pets.

Veterinary Assistant/Technician
Robin has been working in the Veterinary Industry since 2006, and brings prior knowledge and experience to our clinic. She has taken education courses in both dentistry and Anesthesia. With her caring attitude, experience and devotion to the field Robin ensures all our pets get TLC that they so deserve.

Stephanie
Veterinary Assistant/Nurse
Stephanie completed her Veterinary Assistant Program with Douglas College and joined our team. Continuing education in the veterinary field is very important to Stephanie. She has completed programs such as Dental Differences and Life Stages through Medi-Cal, and Nutritional Advocate through Hills. She volunteers her time at the Coquitlam Animal Shelter and lives with her multiple cats, rabbit and dog. With her friendly, helpful nature and commitment to excellence, Stephanie, is a great member of our team always eager to help everyone.

Amanda
Veterinary Assistant/Nurse
Amanda completed her veterinary assistant program for Granville Business College and completed her practicum with us. She continues to work part-time with us as she has a full-time position at Canada West Veterinary Specialists, a large referral hospital in Vancouver with board certified specialists and surgeons. She is a delight for staff and clients alike on the weekends.
