Meet the Veterinary Assistants

Amanda Ferguson

Veterinary Assistant

Amanda completed her Veterinary Assistant program at Granville College and completed her practicum with us. She continues to work part time with us as she has a full-time position at Trupanion, a pet health insurance company. In August of 2015, Amanda celebrated her 10 year anniversary with us at South Point! Amanda previously worked at Canada West Veterinary Specialists and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team.


Lindsey Morrison

Lindsey joined the team at South Point Pet Hospital in September 2019. She got her veterinary assistant certification at Douglas college in 2016. She can be found at the front desk to welcome you in!

Lindsey worked previously at the Langley Animal Emergency Clinic, and has experience working with a variety of animals, such as pigs, goats and alpacas. But the puppies are her favorite.

When she’s not at the clinic, Lindsey can be found out with her husband Steve and their Australian cattle dog Taz. 



Sydney Roach

Sydney started at South Point Pet Hospital with us in June 2019. You can find her at the front desk to welcome you in with a smile.

Sydney enjoys greeting the guests and helping them find what they need. She goes above and beyond to ensure customers leave happy.

When she’s not at the clinic she’s out riding her horse Ace, or at the pool where she works as a lifeguard.

Sydney has her horse Ace, her dog Oakley, her cat Blue, her gecko Leap and her sweet kitten Daisy. 


Stephanie Junod

Stephanie is a Veterinary assistant who graduated from CDI College. She has been with us since September 2017. Although she completed a high school work placement  with us in 2014. She came back to do her final practicum and has been here ever since.

In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her dogs Moose and Jackpot. As well as spending time with her family on the coast of Vancouver Island either fishing, kayaking or hiking.

At the clinic you can usually find her either up front working reception or in the treatment area assisting the technicians and doctor. Stephanie has had a deep love for animals and has wanted to work in the veterinary field since she was a child.
